Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

A creamy, spicy, and delicious dip perfect for parties and gatherings, featuring shredded chicken in buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken breasts cooked and shredded
  • 8 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup buffalo sauce Frank's Red Hots is my favorite
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 2 Tablespoons blue cheese dressing or Ranch, for garnish
  • Fritos scoops, baguette slices, carrot/celery for dipping

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo sauce, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Mix with a large spatula until fully combined. Spread in the bottom of a 1.5 qt baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Bake in a 350 degree F oven, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with blue cheese or ranch dressing. Serve with baguette slices, Fritos scoops, and/or carrots and celery. ENJOY!

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, broil for 1-2 minutes after baking. Serve immediately for the best texture.
