Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, and parsley. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to crockpot.
Melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and scrape up browned bits. Pour over chicken in crockpot.
Mix heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and cubed cream cheese in a bowl. Pour over chicken in crockpot.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Remove chicken, stir sauce, then return chicken to coat with sauce.
Serve with creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over rice, pasta, or vegetables.
Notes
For a lighter version, reduce heavy cream and use low-fat cream cheese.
