800gboneless, skinless chicken breasts(or thighs for more richness)
250gcream cheese(cubed and softened)
25gdry ranch seasoning mix(about 2 tablespoons or one store-bought packet)
100gcooked bacon(chopped)
150gshredded cheddar cheese
30mlwater or chicken broth(optional, for extra moisture)
2-3green onions(sliced, for garnish)
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in the crockpot. Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken and add cream cheese cubes. Optionally, add water or broth for moisture.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
Shred the chicken in the crockpot. Stir to combine with cream cheese, then add cheddar cheese and bacon. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until melted and hot. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
