Ingredients

  • 800 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for more richness)
  • 250 g cream cheese (cubed and softened)
  • 25 g dry ranch seasoning mix (about 2 tablespoons or one store-bought packet)
  • 100 g cooked bacon (chopped)
  • 150 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 30 ml water or chicken broth (optional, for extra moisture)
  • 2-3 green onions (sliced, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot. Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken and add cream cheese cubes. Optionally, add water or broth for moisture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
  • Shred the chicken in the crockpot. Stir to combine with cream cheese, then add cheddar cheese and bacon. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until melted and hot. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
