all-purpose flour

olive oil

butter, divided

garlic, thinly sliced

soy sauce

seasoned rice vinegar

honey
Kosher salt to taste
Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
Green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large frying pan over medium to medium-high heat.
Slice chicken breasts lengthwise into four thinner pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then coat evenly with flour.
Cook floured chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
Melt remaining butter over medium-low heat. Cook sliced garlic for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
Add soy sauce and vinegar, scraping pan bits. Stir in honey, pepper, and salt. Simmer 4-5 minutes until thickened.
Return chicken to pan, simmer in sauce for 1 minute until warm. Serve garnished with green onions.
Notes
For a lighter version, reduce the amount of butter and honey. Adjust garlic quantity based on personal preference.
