Ingredients
  

  • 6 pieces Chicken thighs Bone-in and skin-on for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Provides sweetness and glaze.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Adds umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger Grated for a fragrant touch.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds For garnish.
  • 2 pieces Green onions Chopped for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Optionally, marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes until browned on both sides.
  • Add any desired vegetables, pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve hot with remaining sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the amount of honey based on desired sweetness.
