Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef with diced onions and seasonings. Drain excess fat.
Mix in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Layer beef mixture in a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
Top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Optional: Add garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor. Serve with a side salad for a balanced meal.
