Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • optional seasonings garlic powder, paprika, or any favorite spices

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef with diced onions and seasonings. Drain excess fat.
  • Mix in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Layer beef mixture in a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  • Top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Optional: Add garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor. Serve with a side salad for a balanced meal.
